A typical California Zin, heavy and alcoholic, with alot alot alot of dark full fruits. The nose is full with dark dried cherries, blackberries, and raspberries, a hint of vanilla and clove, definitely spice here, all in all it's JAMMY. Blackberry or Dark Cherry Jam. Yum. If eaten alone, and yes I said eaten. This is a rather large wine, do not forget to decanter and let the spices come out around the fruit.
Unfortunately, I did not get a lot of Earth, which I happen to love. But I do love the tart cherry like finish, and I would really appreciate this wine on a rainy night, alone, with an old movie, and I would skip dinner. Ha!
Cheers!
