Drink your herbs

As if I needed more reason to drink wine. Research Scientists in Egypt have found definitive traces of herbs in wine jars. One jar in particular dates back to 3150 b.c. and includes traces of balm, coriander, mint, and sage. No one is certain of the reasoning behind the herb steeped wine, but a possible conclusion? Medicine. Of course, the wine may have resembled a green Chilean wine or Barefoot Cabernet, and then you can imagine why they would steep their juice with herbs.
